Aristocrat Names Cameron-Doe Its New CFOAustralian land-based and online pokies giant Aristocrat Leisure has now made an important announcement regarding the future of its financial management and success. The firm has now added a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to its ranks, welcoming Julie Cameron-Doe to its team to replace its former CFO, Toni Korsanos.

The developer has confirmed in a recent press statement that Cameron-Doe will fulfil her new role at Aristocrat as soon as the necessary regulatory pre-approvals have been granted. In the meantime, Korsanos will continue to assist in the transitional period leading up to her final departure from the firm in March next year.

Julie Cameron-Doe has well over two decades’ worth of experience in various senior financial management roles, including roles previously held by her in the publishing, media and eCommerce industries across Australia and Europe. The executive will be relocating to North America in 2018, following Aristocrat’s current CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker.

CEO Croker Comments On Appointment

Commenting on the new appointment, Croker noted that he is pleased to have appointed Cameron-Doe as the CFO (Elect) of his development firm. He noted that the new executive is a ‘strategic and results-driven leader’ in finance who has already made notable impacts in the four years in which she headed up Aristocrat’s group finance functions.

According to the CEO, Cameron-Doe has also contributed to successful merger and acquisition activity, while also managing numerous critical processes and enterprise projects for the Australian casino operator and supplier.

This, according to Croker, is why Cameron-Doe was selected as the ideal candidate for the position as Aristocrat's CFO, as she already has extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the firm and has already contributed widely to its success as well.

Korsanos Thanked For Her Fidelity

Croker also confirmed that Toni Korsanos will remain in her role as the firm’s CFO until Cameron-Doe’s formal appointment has been finalised. Thereafter, he noted, Korsanos will also assist the new executive in ensuring a ‘seamless transition’ through her own departure from Aristocrat early in 2018.

Lastly, Croker thanked Korsanos for her dedication and service over the years. In his statement, he wished her success in all of her future endeavours, and also offered his congratulations to Cameron-Doe on her new appointment and expanded range of responsibilities at Aristocrat Leisure Limited.
